Drop the ring onto the hook, and the SecureLatch mechanism automatically engages the primary lock. Just insert the secondary safety pin and you're ready to tow. This unique pintle hook also has a cupped design to hold the lunette eyelet more tightly and deter chucking noises. This pintle hook is rated for 30,000 pounds gross trailer weight and is constructed from austempered cast iron for superior strength and wear resistance. It fits 2-1/2-inch or 3-inch lunette rings. NOTE: SecureLatch slotted pintle mount required for installation (pintle mount and bolts sold separately).
