- For DIY thermoforming: Holstex Basketweave Sheet is very similar to both Kydex and Boltaron in the way it forms when heated and molded around an object. Once cooled, this material will keep the shape of the item that was used to mold the shape into place. In its cooled state, it is very durable and light weight. It is used widely in thermoform holster making, cosplay costume creation, removable surface coverings, keel guard protectors, and much more.
- 3D infused graphic: The printed graphic on this Basketweave textured sheet is infused into the surface under heat and pressure. It is highly durable, scratch resistant, and will not fade. Both the heights and depths of the 3D Basketweave texture are covered with the infused imprint. This gives the effect of being raised off the surface of the sheet and causes the graphic to present its effect with unmatched depth.
- Easy to form: To use Holstex Basketweave Thermoform sheet, score and cut a piece slightly larger than the object being covered. Heat the material to a 300-320 degree Fahrenheit range and place over object. Using forming foam, press the material around the object and allow to cool in position. Once cooled, remove and sand edges to desired shape. (Detailed instructions included with order.)
