In the forsaken dark, a goblin miner breaks through a wall and a cascade of blue light envelops him. The goblin pushes into a vast lava chamber where three floating rifts expose castles within Valeria’s heartland. Racing back to his clanmates, the goblin spreads to the news to all. Lord Nore has bestowed upon us a new shrine! Shadow Kingdoms of Valeria: Riftlands expands the base game with new components, new mechanics, and new strategies for winning the Shadow War. Each player gets a unique asymetric power for their player board. The Rifts Shrine, a large expansion of the base games board, allows you to claim dice from any other shrine, to send raiding expeditions into Valeria, and to collect stolen monster-kin artifacts that bestow new powers.

- Awards & Champions - Achieve new Rift-based awards for big VP and recruit great new champions.
